Rocky Mountain Park is located in north central Colorado. The park elevations range from less than 7,000 feet to the top of Long's Peak at 14,255 feet. The park offers a broad spectrum of spectacular alpine scenery, wildlife viewing, and wilderness experiences. Trail Ridge Road, which passes through alpine tundra for miles and rises to over 12,000 feet offers spectacular views of subalpine forests, alpine tundra and glacier carved mountains. All of the photos shown were taken at elevations above 10,000 feet.
